December 26th Broadcast
« on: December 23, 2015, 08:24:28 PM »
'Twas the morning after Christmas, and we've learned a few things about YnK (which is currently at ver. 1.009):
  • Youkai Mountain and the Shining Needle Castle are among the new points of interest, with equally new music.
  • The "Battle Frontier" (a.k.a. Gaiden+) is in the Human Village, where you need to fight five opponents in a row before you can bow out...or continue on if that's your thing. The last opponent will most likely have an Extra-styled Puppet. You also win 25 of something. Someone that knows Japanese, please translate.
  • Speed Clownpiece can sweep a team of Extra-styled Puppets, but maybe that's because...
  • Hemo Jajao is bad at competitive play.

Interesting stuff happens around 4:35.

To date, this was Hemo's 10th and final TPDP Broadcast prior to the release of Yume no Kakera. It's an exciting time to be alive, ladies and gentlemen...

Personally, I'd like to see someone make THE team that will outlast the entire Village Frontier, like that one team that someone made in XY for the Battle Chateau...

Exciting is hardly the word I would use, more like terrifying and exhausting

Can't wait for the patch, so I can restart the game. I want a starter with all S too!

I'll probably watch the streaming if I could, but I'll probably be busy with more feasts (Here in Italy we use to celebrate on the 26th, too).

My favorite videogame is Final Fantasy X (not the remastered garbage).
My favourite anime/manga is Gintama.
My favourite band is Foreground Eclipse

20:00 here where I live, awesome.

Can't wait for the broadcast! I kind of want to restart my game when it comes out, but I just did that a few days ago...
I want to reach for the tile over there to win off of it.

I'm also known as Kirisame, so yeah. Call me whatever.

You'll kinda have to, considering the two games are incompatible with one another. They use entirely different saves.

Came to that conclusion as well.

At least there's something to do in that case.

I'll do a list of my thoughts (keep in mind that I didn't watch the entire video, and I don't know Japanese):

- It seems that the first map is the Human village? They changed it.
- The map is bigger now, which means new places to explore.
- Puppet interaction is a thing now. Well, akin to Pikachu one in Yellow.
- What is that festival? I think it's kinda like Battle Tower from main Pokèmon games? I don't know much about it, since it's something that I never liked...
- They showed some online features I guess?

Welp, now I want this patch more. And it seems it's not a free patch.

Also, do we have a set release date? It's still 31st December?

EDIT: I didn't notice that the OP was changed, sorry for repeating the same things >_<

guess I will post some of my observations just because whynot?

Path going west of Genbu Ravine has opened up (the map already existed) so the story might take us to the Sanzu River.
Warp location appears to take us to Marisa's house instead of that random empty house in the Road of Reconsideration.
Extra warp point to the southeast of Mayohiga to Sukuna's Castle.
Sukuna's castle has a strange red/blue block that works like a warp, suggests that there might be more to puzzles now.
Kappa Village warp point removed and replaced by Tengu Village.

Forgot to post this here too:

Battle facility appears to follow the rules of Gaiden. You bring six mons, go into team preview and play see 6 choose 3, except the opponents only have 3 mons to begin with so it's stacked in your favor for once.

Hemo's Power Aya traded Rush Attack for a Focus multi-hit, which screws him over on-stream multiple times because it just doesn't have the killing power Rush Attack did on physical walls.

Extra Marisa is Nature/Chaos.
Extra Renko is Light/Void.
Extra Maribel is Illusion/Void.
Extra Sumireko is Dream.
Extra Yukari is Illusion/Chaos.
Extra Cirno is Water/Fighting.
Extra Luna is Electric/Chaos.
Speed Clownpice is Fire/Illusion.

Extra Renko has an ability that changes the target's ability to なし (No Ability) when she enters battle.

Extra Renko is running four status moves: Bind Trap, Grim Reaper's Dance, Continue, and a new Chaos move that had priority but didn't appear to do anything useful.

Extra Sumireko has Darkness Sweets, Ultra High Tone, Shake Gear, and Upbeat.

Speed Clownpiece has a new move that inflicts Burn and Fear simultaneously, Surge of Flame, Blessing of Mana, and Mysterious Wave.

Extra Yukari has a new Focus Illusion attack with 120 BP, two Focus Chaos attacks with 95 and 80 BP, and Barrier Option.

Also, Power Reimu apparently has access to Sneaking/Sucker Punch now.

That battles in facility was not by Hemo, but Jax2o(read Jajao). Last PvP was Hemo vs Jax2o.
