What do you guys think? Legit build? Power or Speed, just let her get burned from her item, get 50% more focus attack/speed, proceed to sweep.

Yes, it's almost certainly legit. Speed probably wants Mind's Eye more while Power can go either depending on whether you want the godly speed tier or sheer power; in both cases it basically gives you a Choice boost, but without the choice-lock and with protection from all the more annoying statuses TPDP has.

Well as the abilities somewhat negate the status that you actually care about (Blind for mind's eye and paralysis for gale) you really only have to worry about the other one and as you can be duel statused you don't actually gain any protection against it unless you use the heavily poison item instead of the regular burn item.

Certainly a strong strategy regardless but there are a few reasons why you might avoid the item and instead use Youmu to switch into troublesome status conditions (namely paralysis)

For example you could use Youmu Power with Gale and give her straw dolls to be a powerhouse, then invest some stat points into her bulk with just enough into speed that she can switch into a paralysis and become a giant threat.

Burning stones cause heavy burn :V

Plus, Youmu is steel type so immune to poison. Both of those are kind of important reasons I said Burning stones not the silly poison root thing.
