The discrepancy between these screenshots is due to the fact that the menu was translated around the time the first Demo was released, while the subtitle was made more recently.

Once I get confirmation for terminology of Attributes vs. Types, I'll finish that last image. This will leave only logoStr from gn_dat1/title to be completed as far as interface graphics go. I won't be doing this one as it seems more up SoulfulLex's alley (it's the same title he's already done in a slightly darker shade of blue after all). I don't believe I have the graphical prowess to handle that one.

The way the Title Logo works is that there are Three Layers going on top of one another. The first is the logo Flare, which is responsible for the "glow" effect when the game starts. Next is the base, which is the outline of the Kanji that logoStr fills in. What I did was put the Subtitle in Flare (for the glow) and the Base with the Color already applied as opposed to outlining it like the Kanji does. Bottom line is, I had no intention of translating logoStr, as the subtitle already has its color in Base (not to mention that it'd be a bitch to try making the subtitle an outline once and the color on Str. The end result wasn't pretty).

tl;dr - I intended logoStr to be left untranslated, since its "effect" was already accomplished in logoBase. That, and it's too much work (and may possibly require bigger text, which would not make the Subtitle fit as well as it does now).

Belatedly realized that Attribute probably wouldn't fit in that box anyway, so it's been added in using Type.

I believe this takes care of all the interface images then.

Is the config message in Dat1 common message translated yet also is this translated yet ( the japanese characters above )

人形の図鑑を見ます。

Record your progress and save the game.
Change the game's settings.

Also i think these are still not translated. base1 belongs to dat3 book commandMenu and commandMenu2 belongs to box and the command belongs to menu. All these in dat3 in the doll category.

I think that says "picture book" but I have no idea how anyone is going to fit that into there. Simply "Book" or "Journal" might do but the sprite already gives that away.
I also have no idea what font to use.

Oh, you're right. It does look like that one wasn't finished.

Well the item thing calls it the Puppet Book, so I think Book will work there. This is a work weekend for me though, so I won't have time to fix it till Monday, at the earliest.

Could someone take a look and get a running list of things the other list is missing and/or aren't actually complete? I'll get to them on my next day off (assuming busy bees like shurcle don't beat me to them). I need to make some edits to get stuff in line with naming conventions anyway.

Not busy! just bored of trying to catch good IV dolls and wanted to get involved in some way shape or form in translating this game because I don't like the fact people are calling 無 "mu". to get it done faster.

Once again, Elyk from the demo translation (http://thpp.supersanctuary.net/forum/index.php?topic=303.msg1675#msg1675). I don't know about base1. will need to look into that. Pretty sure that just says "Puppet Book". I might bother to change it if nobody else does when I get around sorting through the 1.05 files.

I am wondering if there is any demand to re-do these with a somewhat slightly bigger font. Maybe check over everything for consistency.

人形の図鑑を見ます literally translates to "Look at puppet's picture book". This is the only sentence that uses the verb 見ます(to look or watch) where as the rest of them use 確認します which means more to "confirm", "validate", or "check". Examine seems fine for this purpose.
If you want to go for a more natural phrase, "Check" might work better for profile.
The text box is quite large for the small amount of text so there really isn't much reason to cut out "puppet" in "puppet book".
This is what I ended up with:
Examine the puppets in your party.
Examine the items in your bag.
Check \p's information.
Look at the puppet book.
Record your progress and save the game.
Change the game's settings.

I was thinking of doing something like that because applying the translations every time the game updates is a bit annoying. I remember reading something about someone wanting to compile .arc files for an official release but its not really done yet.
Just having a nice drag and drop to replace everything at once would be handy.

Did a few quick translations for ones I couldn't find. Also, the gn_dat3\doll\reinforce\skill2Info.png I found on the demo translation thread was a bit weird and offset funny. I didn't fix it so feel free to if you so desire.
I did not include any of the cvs or conversation files because those don't seem to be done yet in any consistent manner.
This is temporary and just a test. THIS IS JUST FOR CONVENIENTLY COPYING TRANSLATED GRAPHICAL ASSETS BETWEEN UPDATES. USE AT YOUR OEN RISK.
