Beat is not responding???

Ok so after getting some birthday money, I decided to buy and start playing Touhou PPDP. I believe that updating the patches for the game worked (it says 1.34 at the top), but when I try to apply the patch for the translation with beat, it becomes "not responding" and forces me to close. Any Idea what's going wrong?

Are you running from a folder that requires admin rights? If so, run as Administrator, that should fix the problem. Also, the game is incompatible with Win10 at the moment, you have to wait for the big patch that is coming out on the 31th December.

I'm having a similar problem. I downloaded beat from the main page bc that page you guys tell us to download is not working (my computer blocks it, telling me thats its a baD decision). This beat version doesnt work and crashes everytime when i try to patch. So does anyone have a beat version where i can download so i can finally play the game and enjoy the amazing translation? :(
