In competitive Pokemon, there was an infamous strategy consisting of 6 Pokemon all with Baton Pass intended to pass boosts throughout the team and eventually have the recipient sweep. Smeargle, Scolipede, and Espeon were staples on these teams; Smeargle for Spore, Ingrain, Quiver Dance/Geomancy/Shift Gear/Shell Smash, and if allowed, Moody, Scolipede for Speed Boost, and Espeon for Magic Bounce and Stored Power. Baton Pass here is Backup Plan.

What puppets do you use in Backup Plan chains?

Unlike pokemon this game doesnt really have the support movepool behind Backup Plan to make chains super effective.

You don't really get the Spore or Ingrain effects on anything with Backup Plan so making chains becomes a lot riskier.
