Types and Status Conditions

My Japanese isn't very good so the translation might be incorrect.

Spoilered because there are some things outdated and/or wrong. Don't cite this as a source anymore.
Spoiler
Types: Fire, Water, Electric, Wind, Earth, Steel, Nature, Light, Darkness, Phantom, Normal, Sound, Warrior, Poison
I'm not sure what 冥 means. Google translates it to "dark" while other sources give things such as deep, profound, unclear, and gloomy.

Now for the status conditions:
A puppet has two slots for abnormal conditions.
・Poison - Damages 2/16 HP at the end of every turn. 1 Slot
・Deadly Poison - At the end of each turn the damage increases. Damage increases 2/16, 3/16, 4/16, to a max of 15/16. Deadly poison is applied when poisoning something that is already poisoned. 2 Slots
・Burn - Damages 2/16 HP at the end of every turn. 1 Slot
・Heavy Burn - At the end of each turn the damage increases. Damage increases 2/16, 3/16, 4/16, to a max of 15/16. Heavy burn is applied when burning something that is already burned. 2 Slots
・Paralysis - Speed becomes 1/4. 1 Slot.
・Fear - Diffusion becomes 1/2. 1 Slot. -It's confusion.
・Darkness - Accuracy becomes 1/2. 1 Slot.
・Weakness - Prevents the use of healing spells. 1 Slot.
・Stop - Completely incapacitates for 2-4 turns. 2 Slots.

I find it funny that the randomness to Paralysis was passed up but then they introduce a blind-like status condition...
I'm not here.

冥 does mean Darkness. When you see this Kanji in video games as a parameter it will always mean darkness lol.

To me darkness just seems like Infatuation that effects both genders, but with the interesting difference in that you can still use self-changing moves without worrying about doing nothing for a turn. Though it would probably be extra annoying for people who like 80 accuracy attacks...
One day I'll be famous for all the amazing things I've achieved. But until then, I'm going to continue doing absolutely nothing.

That may be but as far as I know 闇 means darkness too. There wouldn't be two types that are dark so one of them has to mean something else.

冥 reads as "Mei", meaning Deep or Dark...

...Meimu confirmed it seems.

So it's 冥 and 闇 huh. Well... Maybe they're two different types of darkness? I do wonder what's the deeper meaning between the kanji. I'll try to find that out. Maybe 冥 Can mean death, I dunno.

So I did some Kanji research, and basically, 冥 is an underworld-like type of darkness. So I'm guessing it can stand for death? I got this from a native Chinese speaker (who can also speak Japanese), and although Chinese and Japanese are different, the meaning behind the singular kanji shouldn't be too different (if not at all) between the languages right?
