..Picking a boost item for Yorihime would be confusing for me since I gave her coverage and that would mean having to choose between boosts from different types...

boost STAB

...Why Tailwind, though, when Goliath's SPD is initially already painful to look at?...

You'll out-speed Walls/Wallbreakers with base 90/95s with 1 boost with proper EVs, if you get +2 speed [via yourself or Baton Passing from Lily] You'll out-speed Mimi-Chans with the same spread

...I should replace Roar on Suika as suggested here as well to Steel Fist, Bulk Up or Focus Punch, which I think could benefit if Lily's Substitute somehow lasts to when I can get Suika out...

Don't use Focus Punch

poot poot

[inspoiler]don't take this the wrong way but you sound young[/inspoiler]

Dunno how young 19 is, but I'm pretty young with competitive if you're looking for such an answer. I'm not even a month into it

Yeah, Leftovers for Tenshi, got it. I thought of that earlier when I was making the team, and I was picking between it and Lum, and for some reason I ended up with Lum even though I had Rest =/ anyway thanks for that

Picking a boost item for Yorihime would be confusing for me since I gave her coverage and that would mean having to choose between boosts from different types. With Flamethrower I can deal with Beast, Steel, Nature and Ice. With Thunderbolt I can deal with Flying, and Water. With Sonicboom I can deal with Flying, Dark and Ice. My team is mostly Earth and Steel, which are countered by Water, Nature and Dream, Earth, Fire, respectively (btw how can dreams counter steel?), I should boost... Fire?

I can see where the suggestions for Goliath is going, and yeah I think that would indeed be for the better. Instead of SD, Tailwind, and Psycho Cut to replace Fury Cutter. Why Tailwind, though, when Goliath's SPD is initially already painful to look at? And I'll replace bloomers for leftovers in the meantime.

Aaaaand yeah, even my friends IRL is telling me to go for Taunt on Lily Black to replace SD, which means I should replace Roar on Suika as suggested here as well to Steel Fist, Bulk Up or Focus Punch, which I think could benefit if Lily's Substitute somehow lasts to when I can get Suika out.

D Tenshi doesnt really gain much from def ev's due to her already sky high def stat, 252 hp/252 spdef can let her live a few special hits nicely though.
Lily black can run taunt over SD to stop phasing/taunt/encore/haze from shutting her down and to stop other things from setting up on her.
Roar on suika feels really unnecessary, steel fist would help a lot though. Bulk up would remove the need for SD on lilly black entirely.
Goliath doll likes coverage over fury cutter giga impact/psyco cut/Poison Jab are all useful...why SD AND bloomers???
CM on yorihime can allow for sweeps
Ad Meiling prefers a fully spdef spread (+ your teams physically bulky enough as is)

You've stacked on so much support that your mons lose 1v1 to things they would normally check/counter and there's nothing on the team that really benefits greatly from that support.

Ah, got it for Tenshi. Good point about the DEF
The SD for Goliath even with Bloomers is just there just in case of steal. I personally never use it unless that happens and I resort to just the three available attacks.
Yeah, CM for Yori and SPDEF for AdMeiling, got it

As for the others, I'll think about it later, I need to go to school quick

New member here, and new to the competitive scene. Trying out this team, and it's kinda rushed, but I did spend a good amount of time thinking about it (yes I just contradicted myself :/)

Defense Tenshi
Item: Lum Berry
Ability: Hisouten
EVs: 252HP, 252DEF, 4SPDEF
- Rest
- Roar
- Sleep Talk
- Spikes

I had this dream back when I was a kid that I wanted to somehow be an annoying prick on almost every game I played where I play against others. I think D-Tenshi here can satisfy that dream of mine of being a complete arse. Simply, Spike three layers and Roar everything. If I'm running out of health, just Rest and continue on with Sleep Talk. Of course it's easy to get shut down by an early spinner or with Taunt, but hey, even at lategame, as long as I can keep the opponent from running a Nasty Plot to Baton Pass onto a special sweeper, I could get by (or I could just roar the spinner and continue spiking :V (loljk)).

Lily Black
Item: Liechi Berry
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252DEF, 252SPDEF, 4HP
- Baton Pass
- Detect
- Swords Dance
- Substitute

Yet another member that can be completely shut down with Taunt. Well, anyway, Lily Black is a dedicated passer of the Speed Boost, and if possible, Swords Dance. To that extent, she can just keep on trying Substitute until she can sink a Swords Dance in and/or have the berry activate. Then, she'll pass the boost on. Detect at the last try, for even just the speed boost.

Attack Suika
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252HP, 252ATK, 4SPD
- Earthquake
- Rest
- Roar
- Strength

Dedicated to my recently-deceased friend (hold the feels ;w;). The goal of Lily Black is to pass the boost, hopefully with an Attack boost at that, to this; one of two possible switch-ins for the Baton Pass move. Attack Suika boasts a great ATK stat, and has the always-reliable Earthquake move. She also has the Sand Stream ability, wherein the resulting sandstorm doesn't affect the team's four main members. If resistant/ineffective, she could either just switch out or make do with Strength, hopefully being able to raise her own Attack in the process. If I'm lucky enough that Spikes are still up, I could also resort to repetitive Roars.

Goliath
Item: Special Bloomers
Special Ability: Maintenance
EVs: 252HP, 252ATK, 4DEF
- Fury Cutty
- Braver
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

The second physical sweeper. Lily Black being able to pass Swords Dance and Speed Boost onto this one mains a lot of pain, due to Special Bloomers and Fury Cutter. If the initial damage of Fury Cutter ain't reliable, then it's easy to use either Braver or Earthquake instead anyway. Either way, they all benefit from the passes and item. And if someone successfully steals her underwear, she could throw in a Swords Dance somewhere.

Speed Yorihime
Item: Scope Lens
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252HP, 252SPATK, 4SPDEF
- Flamethrower
- Rest
- Thunderbolt
- Sonicboom

The team's only special sweeper, and one that can benefit from Lily Black only from Speed Boost. She's mostly there to fill out the gaps in Suika and Goliath's offense. Of course I can replace her with someone else that could probably handle the job better, but as for now, nope. Also, favoritism lol.

Advent Meiling
Item: Leftovers
Special Ability: Advent
EVs: 252HP, 128DEF, 128SPDEF
- Heal Bell
- Roar
- Slack Off
- Vital Throw

Honestly I was only looking for a cleric, but when I saw that this one can not only be a cleric, but can also use Roar, Slack off, and Vital throw, she instantly caught my eye. Heal Bell to cure the team, obviously, Roar to, if Spikes has been set, to continue the harassment, Vital throw to remove any possibly or obviously unwanted items from their puppets, and Slack off to, well, slack off.

Yeah that's my first team. Honestly though, I'm pretty new at this since I've only been recently taught by a female Fil-Am friend of mine about the competitive scene. Sorry if the team is bad xD that's why I'm asking for reviews and criticisms/suggestions on how to improve this.
