This move attempts to steal the effects of another Puppet's attack, and use them for themselves.
Snatch can steal the following moves:
- Moves that only raise the user's stats, such as Swords Dance. This includes Belly Drum, but not Curse.
- Self-healing moves, such as Recover, Rest, and Refresh
- Reflect, Light Screen, and Safeguard
- Heal Bell and Aromatherapy
- Ingrain and Mystic Water
- Psych Up
When Snatching the moves Belly Drum or Substitute, the original user of the move does not suffer HP loss, while the Snatcher does instead.
When used in a Double battle, Snatch will target the first Snatchable move, regardless of the user.
This move has a priority of +4.
Note: this move is unimplemented in Shoddy 2. When used, it simply gives the foe a free turn.
