I saw the translation for the game was complete (and so far what I've seen is great you guys did a pretty fantastic job), so I finally bought the game myself and tried patching it and playing. However there's a pretty big issue.
The game itself refuses to function properly past the starter selection. I think the game believes it's pirated or something. I bought it using the tutorial you all have on the site and did the whole buddy down-loader thing and spent the whole $22 and some odd cents, and have been running checks and looking at other people's issues and I'm at my whit's end here. I am very sure that I am in the proper locale for the game to be running seeing as it does run until just before Yukari warps you away to gensokyo (and by runs I mean does everything except trigger whatever flag to make her appear), however the update patches from the website won't work and thus I can't patch the game to English. I'm really stuck and I really want to play this game and not have spent the $22 on nothing but a donation when there's a game I could be playing. I'm pretty desperate at this point, please help me ;A;
