Okay so this should be most of the Japanese hex edited out.

If you have been following this thread then you should only have attack names/descriptions, puppet names, dialogue, and a few random images left untranslated. If you run into any Japanese on menus or see anything that is wrong (whether grammatically or the translation makes no sense) it would be much appreciated if you could screen cap it for me.

Dialogue up to the Cirno fight has been translated. This includes the doll operators having the nicknames of their puppets changed to the English equivalent. I'll post the files after I finish the rest of the dialogue.

So... I'm stupid and don't know anything relating to the Japanese language, but I play lots of games and I've got good reading and comprehension (not spelling or writing though.) I'd be more than happy to test/proofread/be a cheerleader, if you need anything like that. Until then I'm going to continue fighting my little girls with creepy fat men who want to steal my money.

Edit: Haha errors!

Your help for testing would be greatly appreciated. Anyway here's an update.

We're still arguing over the names we're going to use for some of the status effects but I'd rather just post this for now and sort it out later than stall over it.

\doll\skill

\item

What is left that matters?
1) Some remaining images in \doll\box and \item
2) Insertion of completed SkillData descriptions into the .csv from Google. Needs to be edited for word wrap issues (\n doesn't work here).
3) AbilityData.csv - Agastya said he was going to reword it and then nobody ever followed up on him.
4) Dialogue in \script\talk from the Cirno fight up to the end of the game. If you want numbers that means that approximately 20% of the text is left.
5) \script\dollOperator - About 50% complete (everything up through the Cirno fight). A bit of a pain since out of everything in the game they decided that the only thing worth giving extra encryption to was the nicknames of trainer puppets. The key is included in the files though.

So it looks like Hemo finally posted the official type chart (Posted on September 5th). I realize that someone already made a type chart on Shoddy, but this is just in case anything was missed. I guess you can use it to double-check and make sure the one that was made corresponds to this one.

You can view the official type chart here:

Only 16 more weeks until the full version comes out!

"Where's the progress???"

I'm currently working two jobs and I am a college senior with an overloaded credit schedule. This isn't that high on my priority list. I'm far from the ideal translator for this as well so it would be good if we could find somebody who is actually fluent in Japanese and get them on board and ready before the full release.

That said, I plan to finish what's left in the demo when I have the time available for it. By the time the full release comes out the semester will be over so I will have more free time and will help but I don't want my focus to be on translating the text.

What you can currently do to help-
SkillData.csv needs to have move descriptions be edited to account for word wrap. I have already edited them for consistency with terms used in Pokemon. The limitation of the box is 21 characters. Unfortunately \n doesn't work here and is just skipped over in execution. You can see an example of how the text needs to look raw on the description for Swallow Return.

Version 2 demo out now. More puppets and It's a bit longer and you can select your starter from the man in the opening area. I chose Remilia as my starter and has been pretty boss to the team so far. I think around 100 have been confirmed to be in-game. Also the Music is epic (gotta love the new wild theme!) Hope a soundtrack comes out later.

Patching wise, Does the creator know about there going to be an english patch by this Forum? How do those things work around such like that? Just curious.

We're going to have multiple threads now so use those instead of this one.
