So, this is super late, but what about throwing out an "Infectious" Yamame? If Aya attacks her, she loses her ability, allowing you to freely just guess on the swap instead, and forcing Aya to no longer get 5 attacks on multi-hit moves guaranteed if she does go for the attack. Wouldn't that be a good counter to her as well?

Big bump because, while this thread may have been inactive for a long time, I've been using it to look for some Puppets that I might consider for my team. However, I believe that the list is incomplete, as I've found a few additional Puppets that can use certain useful moves:

Stealth Trap:

Defense Sara
Power Tenshi
Assist Tewi
Power Hatate

Bind Trap:

Assist Parsee
Assist Tewi

Chasing Attack:

Power Suika
Speed Meira

I'd also like to recommend a few Puppets that can learn the following additional useful moves:

Phase Inversion (Reverses all of the opponent's stat changes. +1 Priority. Useful for revenge-killers?):

Power Yumemi
Speed Yumemi
Normal Seija
Defense Seija
Speed Seija
Normal Miko
Power Miko
Speed Miko
Speed Utsuho

Wind God Protection (Doubles the Speed of the user, and all the user's allies for 4 turns. Basically, it's Tailwind.):

Assist Tokiko
Speed Aya
Assist Hatate
Power Kanako
Defense Kanako
Power Sanae

I guess it's fine to post?... Sorry in advance for any mistakes, I've lurked for a while but only made a forum account now.

I read on the wiki Field Effects page that Manifest - Suzaku has some exceptions to its HP restoration inversion effect. Does anyone know what exceptions exactly apply? I assume this game's equivalent of Pain Split (Curse Reversal) isn't affected by it, but anything else?

For Bind Trap, both Koakuma forms, AWriggle, AHina and PLuna get it as well. I use the "what links here" tool on the wiki after going to the move's page, that way you can find every user of that move without having to check one-by-one.

Indeed. I was just adding to the list that was featured in the title post.

Since the release of TPDP:Shard of Dreams (aka Yume no Kakera), lots of Puppets, both old and new, can now learn alot of the aforementioned moves, so I might as well try to update the list: (Names listed in bold can only learn the skill in Shard of Dreams, while names listed in italics can only learn the move in the base game, and may be illegal in Shard of Dreams).

Thanks for the update. (What are Kouryuu and Sunshower supposed to do anyway?...)

Also, for puppets that only learned a move in the original game, if they're transferred over the move'll apparently have a (!) besides it. It can be used ingame, but if you try a net battle with said move, it'll give you an error saying the move is illegal.
