Touhoumon Team Analyzer (useful for beginners).

This is a neat little contraption created by a kind anon from /jp/. It has the ability to review how well your team's offensive coverage is, as well as the ability to point out defensive strengths or flaws. All you have to do is browse for your team, then hit "Upload Team File."

In addition to that (for those of you not in posession of the Touhoumon Shoddy Battle client), Interactive type information is available for all puppets on this website. If you go over to the "Interactive type information" link and enter a Puppet's name in the box, just hit "Submit Query" and it'll bring up in-depth information about that particular Puppet's stats, also including their Defensive strengths and weaknesses as well as their Super Effective STAB coverage.

And that's all there is to it! I did not create this; all thanks goes to that kind anon from /jp/. Thank you!

Sorry for reviving the old topic, just figured I'd make the following observation: the analyzer doesn't seem to account for abilities when figuring out defensive type coverage.

If you put a DHina in on the Interactive Type Information, she'll display as being 2x weak against Earth, which is false 99% of the time (who runs Strange Mist DHina anyway).

Dunno if the same'd hold true for the application that judges your whole team, but it probably is, considering the way it works.

Don't get me wrong, it's still useful as heck, just keep that in mind when using it.

Eh, why? Are you thinking on making a damage calc yourself? o.o
(That'd be lovely, please do so if there's the possibility of it happening)

It does indeed work exactly as you described. The reason being, primarily, that 99% of the information processed comes from data I've stolen from the Shoddy Touhoumon client (species.xml and moves.xml). No complex ability modeling is performed (in fact, all abilities are ignored). I originally wrote this as a CLI application to help me along with my Emerald runs, so a small error margin usually didn't matter.

Feel free to take everything you need from this URL. These files are a bit out of context because they are part of a larger web deployment, but you might be able to make do with just this part (if you actually want to run it at all, that is) Github.
