Portable doll-battles

I was just curious to know if anyone else has made their Touhou Puppet Play game of choice portable in some manner, as I use Half Byte Loader on my PSP to do so.

Grinding is far easier on a player when the game in question can be accessed at any moment of free-time since it's in your pocket/bag, and I know I hated being 'shackled' to my computer to play THPP a year or three ago, so a topic to help those who feel the same seems like a good thing to provide since it hasn't been mentioned to my knowlege.

The HBL stuff can be found here- http://wololo.net/hbl/ , and I must admit I'm not sure of any other programs to aid in this particular endeavor, aside from GBA-flashcart use, but I could never find a working one. Just curious to know what else there is, and throw HBL's stuff out there for those who can make use of it. PSPs are probably pretty cheap now that the Vita's out...

I have heard of THPP on portable devices, but the only portable device I've been able to bring a Pokemon hack (ex. THPP) onto is a phone, which you didn't exactly specify. I haven't done this in years, too, so I may be a bit rusty at giving instructions.

Phones are certainly an option nowadays, but my phone is...well I'll be generous and just call it 'crappy'.

Either way, it's good to at least let everyone know what options exist, no? Not all of us can afford lap-tops to just have VBA or No$GBA saved on them, after all...

One suggestion I can make is a Supercard DSTwo flashcard if you have a DS or if the flashcard is updated, the 3DS is an option.

Also yeah, a smartphone + emulator is definitely an option. Personally, if you want a good emulation machine, I would take a look at the Nvidia Shield but it's pretty pricey. It has Android though, so plenty of emulation options there including GBA for THPP.
