Forest of Magic Map/Guide?

I'm stuck on the Forest of Magic. I've visited Alice's house, what do I do/where do I go after this?

Head back to Rinnosuke to get the bike, and then go back to the Human Village and talk to Akyuu. After that you can go south out of the village to the Bamboo Forest.
