What is Charm?

I see lot of abilities in wiki mention what called "charm", but I can't understand what it does. :rolldice:

Worrywart
If a Puppet has this ability and is holding a charm, the held charm will activate when HP is halved.
↑something like this

There's no explanation about this charm thing in manual or whatsoever.
Can anybody explain what is charm? Thank you

Charms are reflavored berries; held items with effects that can (normally) only be used once per battle.
