Touhou Puppet Dance Performance / Puppet Location Changes
« on: December 31, 2015, 06:16:45 AM »
Are there any puppets that have location changes?

I'm finding Lily on Route 1 and Raiko on Route 3 so far.

Touhou Puppet Dance Performance / Hidden Puppets
« on: December 31, 2015, 05:00:08 AM »
What hidden puppets have you found so far?

So far I've found Seija in the barrel at Route 1 and Kisume in one of the wells at Human Village, and Wriggle in a barrel at Route 3, and some more Kisume at Myouren Temple Cemetery, and Rinnosuke outside Kourindou, and Nitori in a pot on Route 4, and Marisa in SDM's storage, and Suika in a barrel on the island with a house on Kappa Hideout, another Suika near in the area with 2 stands run by ghosts, and a Yuugi at the area with more stands, and a Hatate in a barrel at Tengu Village, and Chen at a drawer and a pot at Mahoyiga.

Metagame Discussion / Sugilite + Unfettered Soul
« on: December 25, 2015, 06:51:02 AM »
How does this combination sound? Use Unfettered Soul once, and you'll have boosted power of Unfettered Soul for the rest of the match. I find that this works on fast focus sweepers like Speed Youmu.

Nimble Sweeper
P-Sakuya @ Hematite
Ability: Nimble
EVs: 64 FAtk / 2 Def / 64 Spe
Red Mark
- Overtake Strike
- Brandish
- Dancing Sword
- Miracle Edge

How does this set look? Get a revenge kill with Overtake Strike and you'll be set up to sweep. What are your takes on P-Sakuya and how to play with and deal with her?

Metagame Discussion / Backup Plan Chains
« on: September 18, 2015, 03:52:43 AM »
In competitive Pokemon, there was an infamous strategy consisting of 6 Pokemon all with Baton Pass intended to pass boosts throughout the team and eventually have the recipient sweep. Smeargle, Scolipede, and Espeon were staples on these teams; Smeargle for Spore, Ingrain, Quiver Dance/Geomancy/Shift Gear/Shell Smash, and if allowed, Moody, Scolipede for Speed Boost, and Espeon for Magic Bounce and Stored Power. Baton Pass here is Backup Plan.

What puppets do you use in Backup Plan chains?

Metagame Discussion / VoltTurn
« on: September 14, 2015, 12:36:40 AM »
Basically VoltTurn is using Changeling and Lightning Speed to wear down opponents and gain constant momentum. One of the most well known VoltTurn cores is the core of Landorus-T and Rotom-W (some have a third pivot like Scizor) that cover each other's weaknesses.

What are some puppet cores that you recommend for VoltTurn?

Metagame Discussion / Greninja Equivalent?
« on: September 12, 2015, 09:20:31 PM »
What's the closest thing there is to Greninja in this game? I'm looking for something that has ridiculous speed and power, as well as very wide coverage with very few counters, allowing it to be a reliable revenge killer to a bunch of puppets.

Metagame Discussion / Assist Satori
« on: September 07, 2015, 02:58:59 PM »
OH NO IT'S WOBBA!
A-Satori @ Life Charm / Food Rations
Ability: Shadow Stitch
EVs: 64 HP / 64 Def / 2 SDef
Blue Mark
- Reflecting Water
- Cross Counter
- Encourage
- Lucky Rainbow / Call of the Dead

How does this set look? The idea is simple: lock an opponent into a move, then either counterattack or switch to a puppet that has a setup move. Call of the Dead might see some more use if ExSpeed Charm were released, but it can still force 50/50s on the opponent on whether to KO and get taken out or avoid KOing and become setup fodder.

Metagame Discussion / Power Elly
« on: August 03, 2015, 09:55:24 PM »
Sweeper
P-Elly @ Straw Dolls / Life Charm / Black Choker / Food Rations
Ability: Recoil Offset
EVs: 2 HP / 64 Atk / 64 Spe
Red / Green Mark
- Mad Rush Stance
- Fiery Foehn Winds
- Brandish / Overtake Strike
- Overtake Strike / Backup Plan / Stone Spike

All-Out Attacker
P-Elly @ Silver Hairpin / Gold Hairpin / Life Charm / Food Rations / Straw Dolls / Healing Charm / (type resist charm)
Ability: Recoil Offset
EVs: 64 HP / 64 Atk / 2 Spe or 2 HP / 64 Atk / 64 Spe
Red / Blue / White Mark
- Brandish
- Fiery Foehn Winds
- Overtake Strike
- Stone Spike

How do these sets look? Also what teammates do you find useful for P-Elly? I'm using D-Toyohime for defensive synergy but there might be more options that I missed.
