If a hack is taking place in a region other than Hoenn, what would the equivalent of that region's legendaries be?

XUtsuho, XSuwako, and XTenshi are the weather trio of Hoenn, let's discuss and think of ideas of what the other legendaries would be!

Kanto:

Legendary Birds: Elis, Mima, and Yuugenmagan almost always replace one of the "Legal" legendary groups. (In this case, I'll put them in place of the legendary birds.)

Mewtwo: I feel like an XYukari would make a lot of sense here, both share a very similar type (Psychic and Reason).

Johto:

Legendary Beasts: Sariel, Konngara, and Kikuri usually replace another set of legal legendaries, in this case, I'll attribute it to the Legendary Beasts

Tower Duo: XMokou, because she resembles a phoenix like Ho-Oh sometimes does, and XKaguya to counterpart XMokou.

Hoenn:

Legendary Golems: A final trio of PC-98 characters are not present in any hacks, but could be. These being Noroiko, Matenshi, and the Wheel Demon (also sometimes named Hinamei or Wayousei)

What are your guy's ideas of legendaries?

Creative Conundrum / Creating Sprites for New Shard Formes

After looking through some sprites used in 1.5 games, specifically World Link, I have found a decent amount of sprites that are of good enough quality to be used as 1.8 sprites, or can be of high enough quality with some slight modifications to their colors or to their details. I have decided to compile together all the sprites I see as being able to be used for new shard forms, which creators can use for their hacks or original games or whatever.

I've also heard that some of the more high-quality ones came from a 1.5 hack called "Merry's Version" but I'm not very well educated in the 1.5 department.

This thread's purpose is a place for people to post sprites from 1.5 games that could be usable in 1.8 games, sprites from 1.5 polished to be 1.8 sprites, or custom sprites entirely.

Creative Conundrum / Permissions To Use Sprites?

I'm thinking of possibly making a THPP game, not a Romhack, just a game in Game Maker 8. I plan on including every puppet that is in the Touhoudex so far.
(Including the ones that don't appear in the Romhacks such as the DDC cast and Transcendant Maribel and the lot.)

The only question is, are these sprites free to use? If not, who should I ask for permission to use them?
