Translation project / Re: Yume no Kakera Translation
« on: July 09, 2016, 03:17:29 AM »
Hello, I'm here to tell you translation team things that you missed.

Most of the battle text like the secondary effects. Quite confusing to know what's going on like raised stats or things.
Saving file. Very minor, but still telling it.

Other than that, it's fairly okay I guess. Just translate the battle texts ASAP. It really helps a lot, especially in the competitive scene.

No, Wolfsbane and Flame Stone (?) triggers after the first turn the puppet is deployed, so it would not take effect immediately. To ensure it gets status, probably you'll need Nature Barrier for that.

3
About the Dream World: You can go to Human Village and find Udonge under a farmer's hat. She sells you items that allows you to access the Dream World when you sleep in certain shacks.

Junko and Hecatia are the rare encounters, and Hecatia is very rare based on the info I gathered. Good luck.

Miko is actually a Wake Up Call Boss. Without a fast puppet, you're guaranteed to be beaten.

She has no rematches iirc.

New puppets:
Sumireko can be found in Route 5 (or the path to the left of Human Village)
All other new puppets can be found concentrated in one place, the Dream World. You access it by going to the bamboo forest cut area and rest in the shack with a specific item.
Aside from the above, Seiran and Ringo can be found in Moriya Shrine (need confirm)

There are new locations: Sanzu River, Divine Spirit Mausoleum, Netherworld, and Heaven. There may be alterations to the types of puppet showing up, but it's still largely the same.

Easier? Well, for one thing, Team 9 is easier in levels. But then you'll face Miko with puppets that are slightly higher than yours and having Up Tempo (Speed Boost). And then there's the postgame...

For puppets that are following us, it's just their field sprite, like the ones you see when meeting puppets for the first time, so no. They can produce emotes when you talk to them though.

If the above post is correct, then think of it as like the bike in Kanto or the Slowpoke Tail in Johto.

Generally, always max up HP for tanks or slow attackers. Also modify the points a bit to get the HP to an odd number, this allows you to take hazards better.

Also if you want to play competitively, seeing as DParsee has high defenses on both, you'll want to see what your team needs. So either max up FoDef or SpDef. The rest could be dumped to the other defense.

For some puppets that have a very high defense on one but average on the other. better max out on the weaker ones so it can wall better. If it's too low, then better pump the high defense even further.

The first example is Defense Hecatia. It has sky high SpDef but middling FoDef, but since its FoDef is still average, you can max out FoDef and wall everything better.

Second example is Defense Yuuka. Very high FoDef but horrible SpDef. Even if invested, it won't take Spread attack very well, so might as well increase its FoDef. (But since this is DYuuka, it's better being a tank hitting things rather than walling since it has high FoAtk)

Hope this helps.

It actually doesn't affect anything, the expansion is a standalone installation, but in order to run the game, you need the base game or it won't run.

The expansion will be Japanese while the base game is whatever you set the language to.

From what I get, she's saying:

"Is there something in my bed?"

Hmmm... Raid could break Black Chokers and Indomitable, so it's nice. Also the introduction of Gold Hairpin in TPDP is a nice addition, providing sets like this. I didn't thought of it, since I'm a bit used to Pokemon. I have the Choice Band variant, that uses Good Ring for extra damage, and no Raids, because you're locked to one move.

I don't get why people won't use Stone Spike though. It's a good coverage that gets Strategist bonus. And people using Break Shots rather than Dancing Sword, maybe they want to break screens?

I just checked, those are the exact stats without mark and PP investments for lv 50.
Except HP, while other stats are added 20 from the base stat, HP is added 75 from the base stat.
I hope this will help.

I checked the stats using the base TPDP PuppetDex 1.91

Excuse me, why are all the puppet base stats are 20 points higher than in wiki, giving them essentially 120 BST?

It's at the very end of the game. To be precise, [inspoiler]you need to beat Mugetsu and Gengetsu again inside Mugenkan, the entrance is the place where you first end up. You need to collect 10 books first.[/inspoiler]

Search around the forum, they have the answers.

You already have Omega MagStone when you acquire the marks.

If you're talking about Rainbow MagStone, the wiki will help.

こだわり means good, or that's what the translator said anyway. Power puppets outspeeding could mean that it used Good Belt, or just your puppets not having perfect S ranks, or at least S rank in Speed, and not dumping PPs in Speed. Yes, it seems that the AI puppets here have perfect stats in everything.
