and a wee Puppet Reimu render as a bonus:

Either the link is broken or the image is gone.

Should work now.

I've had these image files for a while (They were named in various numbers) so I just renamed them to English and decided to share em' with you lot:

https://imgur.com/a/4iQEz

(Posted as an album link to avoid massive clutter) The folder had around 159~ images... so it would be a huge mess otherwise. lol

I don't know where I originally got them (I had a looksie around the net, and even on the games' artist's page, and came up pretty dry.)

(Well besides this: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=53894802)

~Credit goes to the original source. :) (wherever you are)

Is the patched dat folder fine?

I mean, I guess I could try patching the game again but would the save file still work?

Save data should work regardless (make a back up just incase though)

Please do not distribute pre-patched copies of the game on the forum, as part of this sub-forums rules. I have removed the offending link from the post.

Oh.. I actually forgot to check the contents of the files. (I just realized the zip was basicly the full-game)

My apologies.

Touhou Puppet Dance Performance / *Spoilers* Post-game findings.
« on: January 04, 2016, 11:41:19 AM »
Warning: as stated in the title these are some spoilers for postgame.

Anyways, here are some of my current findings:

(Although I forgot some of the battle level ranges)

Importing Puppets from the previous game is confirmed. I don't know how I triggered it. But I presume it to be in relation to a post-game battle that I did with Mugetsu/Gengetsu.

Afterwards I had an additional 30~ boxes with all of my puppets (Including party and battle boxes) Either that or it was in relation to unlocking net-play.

(Would like an additional source to confirm)

- You can battle Iku/Tenshi in Heaven

- You can battle Youmu/Yuyuko in the Netherworld (Plus a random level 99 normal lily event)

- More puppet federation shenanigans, including re-doing the hide and seek from early game. Plus some random floating castle/building/whatever afterwards. (I need to brush up on my touhou lore lol)

- In said floating building you can battle Raiko/Seija

- Postgame book event(s) exist (One of which presumably triggered a sub-plot that involved going to the starting area)

-New area in the dream world that lets you battle Mima (level range 90-95)

- Suwako still gives the Native Grace

- Can battle Suika behind the Hakurei shrine

- Can battle Flandre in the Scarlet Devil Mansion (Four times in a row) Level range 60-65? I believe.

- Magan exists, albeit for a brief event (so far)

Hello, I'm new here, but decided to join in to help people and maybe some metagaming.

To the topic...

Go to Route 1 via Human village. Just a bit to the right, there's a breakable rock. Go there, and you'll be in a new area of Route 2. There's some trainer battle that is massively underleveled, don't know why. Keep going until you go to a forest. Kana will be there and challenge (?) you. Her puppets are iirc lv65 Poltergeists, don't know their styles. After you beat her she will give you the item. There's a note near there, but I don't know its significance.

That's all.

Firstly: Welcome to the forums. :)

I'm new-ish here too. (ish in reference for being a lurker, till recently lol)

and in response to your answer: Thanks! I'll check it out. :)

Belated Edit: Yeah it was there. Noice.

I'll just drop this in here for everyone to enjoy. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11io5I31lHhqJRaAjVDtpFrUH1-hFbBC_P4ME7O2em5g/edit#gid=0

Holy moly... that's some mighty fine spreadsheet you got there. Nice work! :)

1#: Did you install the game and are running it with system locale set to Japanese? If not then that might causing those issues.

2#: if that doesn't work and/or you're running Windows 10 I may have another solution tucked away somewhere.

I have Language for non-Unicode programs set as Japanese, I did it before doing anything about installing the game.

Also yeah, I do have Windows 10.

Sorry for the late-ish reply.

Anyhow, heres a patched dat folder (plus the exe included in the zip) that *might* work for Windows 10.

[REMOVED BY MODERATOR]

It's worked for a couple of other folks I gave it to (Which also had Win10-issues) so hopefully it'll be the same case here. :)

Otherwise: I have no clue.

So far three item locations remain the same.

Those being:

Peach Hairpin: Great Toad's Pond (From a frog)

Monkey Seat: Muenzuka (Purple tree)

Dog Flute: Hakurei Shrine (Well behind the shrine)

but one seems to be missing from it's original area, which is the Hochodo Book (Originally in the Myouren Temple cave, after an event)

Anyone have any luck finding it? Only info I have on it (from a Japanese wiki) is that it *might* be in a dream world.

You look for some bushes and interact with them, and then battle the fairies of light. (If I can remember correctly)

The chibi art variant I'm assuming? only way I know is by print screening a shot of the game and doing this:

http://i.imgur.com/Vt8tbXh.png (Erasing the background, and I presume the trainer: this variant just includes the trainer atm)

55 FO.Defense

120 SP.Attack
