Touhou Puppet Dance Performance / DRMBuddy help.

Hello hello,
I just bought THPDP a few hours ago and got it downloaded and extracted. I installed Buddy and created my account as per the great instructions provided on this site. However I'm unsure of what to do now. I cannot relaunch the PDP installer, is crashes with an unreadable error, I cannot launch the BuddyLauncher, and when I try to log in using the BuddyID login application all the boxes are greyed out and my only option is to close.
Knowing me, I probably overlooked something simple, but if anyone knows what is wrong I'd appreciate a response. Oh, and yes my language/region is set to Japan.
