Weird, did you extract the file you downloaded? I mean the .zip file.
Is the full file name thmnemer1812 oct-19c-2013.ips or thmnemer1812 oct-19c-2013.zip ?

Anyway, I'll send it to you via pm in 2 minutes (uploading). Make sure to have a extracting program like 7-zip though, that is apparently the case.

Do you want me to upload the already patched rom? I'm not sure if it's against the rules to post it though, I can't find the rules anyway.

In any case, you said there are only 1 file in the download, are you sure you downloaded from the correct link on the link you posted?

The file you're supposed to patch is inside the "IPS (Lunar IPS)" folder, it ends with the .ips file format.

If you could PM it to me, that'd be great.

And I tried to patch ti but... uhh, hang on.

You apply the patch with IPS patcher, try this: http://www.romhacking.net/download/utilities/240/
I don't remember the specifics steps, but it's pretty straightforward work.

I click the thing to go patch it, but there's only one file in the downloads, and it's this anime face maker I downloaded.

EDIT: I just managed to patch it, I think, but it just says the files are damaged now.

Alright so I'm new to this. I downloaded the newest Puppet Play (http://lkaexe.supersanctuary.net/thmnemer18/ to be exact) and when it downloaded, there was no exe or jar files.

Pokemon Emerald downloaded fine, and I'm able to play it, but... what do I do now?
