: Yume no Kakera Translation

When can we realistically expect a translation for the new expansion? I really want to understand the story as I play through it this time as opposed to the original.

All I can tell you is, don't expect one for at least 2 months. We're waiting for FoLens to patch the game more before we do serious work.

First post for me here, I hope I'm not doing anything wrong lol

I am currently attempting to port most things over from the old game's translation that I can in my spare time such that at least there's a starting point to work off with when serious work does occur. So far copying and pasting is working well, with a few modifications here and there needed for certain things. I've mostly re-added/slightly modded images yet I've also done some text modification; I've put some images in the below spoiler tag showing what I've added so far off.

I also have the arc files' structure along with what I've done to each of them so far in a log-type thing which I uploaded to pastebin (http://pastebin.com/bMxas1PH) so you don't have to read through another spoiler tag.
Before you ask, yes, this was done in version 1.011.

EDIT: Added another image.

I would say don't bother personally, a lot of the stuff in the old translation is really really faulty, and we've been working behind the scenes to try and revise the translation for when we do get to serious work on it. If you would like to assist the translation team, feel free to hop on the IRC and discuss things with us! We could always use more people willing to help!

I actually think the team will appreciate the stat pages when they realize those have changed; thanks.

Even before we got the final patch, we can make assets. Keep up on good work Choon!

EDIT (2016/6/7): The "final patch" 1.1 is now out!

What "Final patch" are you talking about?

I'm interested to know as well. Was there an official statement talking about a final patch? I ask because I updated to v1.102 some time ago and I'm curious as to if the patches are actually scheduled to end at some point.

FocasLens recently updated to Version 1.103 earlier today, so we can infer that 1.102 wasn't to be the final patch.
On a related note, we just released the Shard of Dreams Interface Translation Patch earlier, so you can pick that up in the pinned download thread! It will require 1.103 to run, so be sure to update before patching.

Hello, I'm here to tell you translation team things that you missed.

Most of the battle text like the secondary effects. Quite confusing to know what's going on like raised stats or things.
Saving file. Very minor, but still telling it.

Other than that, it's fairly okay I guess. Just translate the battle texts ASAP. It really helps a lot, especially in the competitive scene.

We'll look into doing the stat buff/debuff text for Revision 2, which we'll be working on somewhat soon?

As for the battle texts, the reason why we don't is because of the erratic update schedule of FocasLens, which cause us to redo work on the exe every time. Saving the heavy duty exe strings for last allows us to focus solely on that and push out an update for it as quickly as possible without needing to worry about FoLens updating between our Lengthy Delays.
