Hello.
When I've built myself my Defense Yukari, I felt like she was rather poor in terms of useful moves. Attack Mean and Defense Mean are complete bullshit, as she most likely has the higher stats out of both. Recall Nightmare is a bit too situational to be really useful, while we could simply hit the opponent instead. As for the skillcard moves, none of them is really useful, except Inferno to beat up Steel puppets.
So I decided to give a try to Power Yukari and... I wondered if she is even of any use. Her ability is way too much of a handicap. I tried to use Nature Barrier to help her wasting the 5 turns, but it's still quite a trouble to benefit from her true power. I'm not planning on using Continue on her, as she has rather weak defenses compared to Defense Yukari.
I also tried using Attack Replacement, but it seems that it trades my Fo.Atk with the opponent's, same for Sp.Atk, while I was hoping to have my own Fo.Atk and my Sp.Atk to be traded, same for the opponent. That would have been a good workaround, but well...
I have no ideas what to do next. Opinions?

She's garbage. Sorry. Literally Regigias, except with worse coverage, worse overall movepool (rip t-wave), and a typing that matches the local goddess that is Defense Reimu.
If you must use her for in-game, pairing her with a Yamame would let you (eventually) get Infectious onto her using the enemy. This is basically guaranteed to fail against smart human opponents though as Yukari lacks Pursuit.

I've double checked, and actually her defense is pretty comparable. She's just focused more on HPs rather than def stats.
Still, that ability is way too much of a handicap. If it were only 3 turns, or if she had an even higher Sp/Atk...

I got yukari as starter and defense yukari is pretty good. maybe a bit scarce in movepool, but 80/140/140 is a really good bulk
I guess in late game you could run unjustness and basically stall everything down to struggle

Nah, Unjustness is completely useless. It only forces an opponent to use something else after using the same move 3 times, in which case she'd already be beaten down to pulp. Unjustness is only useful for wild puppets to waste your PPs against them.
Go for Strong Smile instead. It isn't much useful either, but it's still better.
